The work includes, but is not limited to, constructing a new (third) secondary clarifier, a scum pump station, modifications/additions to yard piping including above-grade scum collection lines, a new RAS meter vault and flow control valve, piping connection to the existing RAS Pump Station wet well, constructing a walkway from the splitter box to the new clarifier, plumbing, electrical and instrumentation/SCADA systems, including pipe heat tracing, and appurtenant work as described in the project specifications. The project is located at the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant in the City of Millville, Cumberland County, New Jersey. Bid security in the amount of not less than 10 percent of the Bid or $20,000, whichever is less, shall accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Successful bidder must furnish 100 percent Performance Bond and 100 percent Labor and Materials Bond. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, should the Owner deem it to be in the public interest to do so. Site walkthrough description: Other parties interested in the Work are encouraged to attend the tour and pre-bid conference. Document Note: Bidding Documents will be shipped three (3) day mail only if requesting party includes an additional non-refundable check made payable to City of Millville in the amount of $50.00 to cover the cost of postage and handling.
