As of September 20, 2024 bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. No definite date for the rebid. The intent of the Agreement is to provide for the construction and completion in every detail of the work described. Contractorshall provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment, supplies, safety equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to perform, and shall perform, the work generally described as follows, in a good and workmanlike manner and in accordance with the Contract Documents, (as hereinafter defined) as necessary to produce the results intended by the Contract Documents (all hereinafter called the Work) Question Deadline 08/08/2024 at 12:00 PM ET All questions concerning the letting of this project shall be submitted in writing to the Design Consultant (USI Consultants, Inc. Attention: Mitch Hansel, 8415 E. 56th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46216, mhansel@usiconsultants.com) The proposed construction involves HMA patching, 4" of HMA paving, 4" asphalt milling, 6" watermain, 4" force main, lift station, fire hydrants, and water meter along with all incidental work required,as more fully specified in the Contract Document and Plans. Any Person, Firm or Corporation Who Submits a Proposal Must File With Their Bid a Certified Check, Bank Draft,cashier's Check or Money Order Issued by a Financial Institution Insured by an Agency of the United States in the Amount of Five Percent (5%), Made Payable to the Miami County Eda. In Lieu of the Above, Any Person, Firm or Corporation Who Submits a Proposal and Has a Principal Place of Business in the State of Indiana May File With Their Proposal a Bid Bond in the Amount of Five Percent (5%), Made Payable to the Miami County Eda. The successful Contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, each, within ten (10) days after award of the contract and a two (2) year Maintenance Bond in the amount of thirty percent (30%) of the contract price prior to completion and final payment of the contract. Authority reserves the right to reject any proposal, to waive technicalities or irregularities therein, to delete any bid item or items and to award a contract on the proposal that in their judgment is most advantageous to Miami.
