The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron (1 SOCONS), Hurlburt Field, FL is requesting information from industry to assist in finalizing the acquistion strategy for a potential requirement. Replace Auditorium Dimmer Control System, Bldg 91029 on Hurlburt Field. This facility currently has an inoperable and unsupported Synergy Lighting Control System used to control multiple lighting configurations within its main auditorium. The requirement will call for the removal of two (2) existing control touch panels and two (2) existing one-button control switches. In addition, the existing Synergy power supply breaker box would be reomoved. The existing system will be replaced with Unison EchoTouch controls (P/N 7186A1119-5), Echo Inpire Button Stations (P/N 7186A1001-5) and all associated electrical panels and components. The EchoTouch items are considered "Brand Name or Equal". This requirement will include all equipment AND labor to install to include any electrical connections. NOTES OF IMPORTANCE: 1. A solicitation does not currently exist for this requirement. This is ONLY a sources sought synopsis, DO NOT submit quotes or proposals. The Government does NOT intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice. 2. If the Government decides to ursue a solicitaiton, portions of your response to this notice may be incorporated into the final solicitation or RFQ. Respondents are discouraged from submitting any information deemed competition-sensitive or proprietary. 3. Respondents will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in responding to this notice. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. 4. Oral submission of information will not be considered in response to this notice. To assist the Government in developing this requirement, please provide the following information. 1. GENERAL INFO: a. Company name, address, point of contact to include phone and email b. Type of business, (i.e. small, 8(a), woman-owned, Hub Zone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned) c. Under which NAICS code does your company usually provide the requirements described above d. Describe any commercial contract terms or conditions that would apply to this type of requirement. e. Describe any alternate ( OR Equal ) product that your company would consider as an alternate to the product listed above. 2. CAPABILITIES a. Is your company capable of meeting this requirement to include furnishing of equipment AND installation of electrical components b.
