Completion Date: Nov. 1, 2024 Description: Resurface the existing east parking lot along the alley south of 95th Street between LaCrosse Avenue and 49th Avenue. The curb and gutter will be spot repaired based on existing conditions. All ADA ramps will be upgraded to Village standards and the parking lot will be restriped to maximize its use. Select light poles have been identified for replacement. Reconfiguration and closure of 49th Avenue south of the existing adjacent parking lots near 9520 49th Avenue for proposed Cul-De-Sac roadway disconnect. Resurfacing and construction of the west parking lot along the alley south of 95th street between 49th Avenue and the alley just east of Brandt Avenue. The proposed parking lot will be expanded to the south within the recently excavated/regraded property by the Village. Full Depth Improvements: Scope includes Pavement removal and replacement with HMA Surface Course 2" and HMA Binder Course 3". This construction will be performed in existing parking lot areas east of 49 th Ave to Lacrosse Ave, the west parking lot area, west of 49 th Ave to the western alley, in proposed parking lot expansion and proposed cul-de-sac area. Grind & Overlay (G&O) Improvements: Scope includes 2" surface removal and replacement with HMA Surface Course 1.5" and Leveling Binder, (paid as Polymerized Hot-Mix Asphalt Binder Course, IL-4.75, N50), 0.75". The grind and overlay will be performed in the alley on the west limits of the proposed parking lot and in the alley north of the west parking lot east to 49 th Ave. The scope also includes structure adjustments, driveway removal and replacement, curb spot repair, and sidewalk spot repair. Construction of new parking lot expansion and Cul-desac roadway disconnect. This will include new curb and gutter, typical section parking lot per Village Code, drainage while maximizing the parking lot. Additional improvements include construction of a new fence around the perimeter of the parking lot (west and south sides of the parking lot).
