Replacement of Salt Sheds for the County of Burlington Question Deadline 09/16/2024 at 5:00 PM ET PROJECT NAME AND LOCATION: Replacement of Four (4) Salt Sheds for the Department of Public Works 2. PROJECT SCOPE: The proposed project shall include but not be limited to the following work: o Construction of Four (4) Salt Sheds o Demolition of three (3) existing Salt Sheds o Miscellaneous site work o Miscellaneous electrical work Trades Required: o General Construction o Electrical o Structural Steel 3. PROJECT PHASING The work is to be conducted on an occupied site. All work is to be coordinated with the County so as not to interrupt daily operations. The contractor may, at their own discretion, begin work on all sheds concurrently or stagger their construction and demolition. For all locations with the exception of Bass River, ALL new sheds are to be fully constructed and CO's issued before demolition of the existing structures begins. The existing structure at Delran is to Remain. For the Bass River location, once the existing structure and brine tank supporting slab are demolished, to make way for the new structure and in-kind replacement of the brine tank support slab, the contractor shall have sixty (60) calendar days to construct and obtain a CO for the new shed. Should the contractor exceed the sixty (60) day timeline, liquidated Existing Brine Tank Slab dimensions, construction materials subbase and all items related to the anchorage and attachments of the Brine Tank to the slab shall be verified and recorded by the Contractor and reported to the Engineer upon demolition. Slab to be reconstructed, in-kind, at the location shown for the Bass River location only Location 1991 HAMMONTON ROAD SALT SHED 10 HARTFORD RD SALT SHED 1882 FLORENCE ROAD 25 PEMBERTON-BROWNS MILL ROAD SALT SHED
