The project will provide curb, gutters, landscaped pedestrian buffers, 6-foot sidewalks, 5-foot bicycle lanes, median islands, street lights, and Asphalt overlay. The storm system will be replaced/modified as necessary, detention will be provided, and water quality will be provided for 150% Of the new impervious surface. The intersections of regents, 35th and 40th will be improved with upgraded signals, transit priority, video Detection, audible pedestrian signals and updated ada ramps. Connections will be provided to nearby residential, transit, recreation and Commercial areas. Funding is allotted for 2025. Information regarding a design firm or timeline for construction has not yet been established. WADOT - 67th Avenue Improvements Phase 1 *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability.
