This project implements the recommendations made in arc flash studies that were performed for various MTA facilities. The scope includes replacement of electrical components to correct installations with interrupting capacity less than the calculated requirement. Each bid exceeding $100,000 must be accompanied by a Bid Bond on a form furnished by the Administration in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid Price. A performance and payment bond is required for all construction contracts in excess of $100,000. The performance bond shall be in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The payment bond shall be in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Multiple and/or alternate Bids will not be accepted.
