A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. Renovation of existing bathhouse, construction of new bathhouse and support buildings, renovation of existing lap pool, construction of new lazy river, waterslides, plunge pool, spray grounds, and related site, mechanical and electrical construction. B. Type of Contract 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. C. Commencement of Work On-Site: Work may commence on-site on September 20, 2024. D. Project Completion: 1. Sequence the Work to achieve Substantial Completion on or before Early 2026. Cody Pool Expansion. Only One Bid is Allowed Per Bidder. No Alterations in the Proposal by Erasures or Interlineations Will Be Permitted Unless Initialed by the Bidder. Bids Made Up on Blanks Other Than Those Furnished by the City Will Be Rejected. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashier's Check on a Bank Whose Deposits Are Insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in the Amount of 5% of the Contractor's Bid and Must Be Payable Without Condition to the Treasurer of the City of North Platte, Nebraska, as Evidence of Good Faith of the Bidder and as Agreed Liquidated Damages to the City of North Platte, Nebraska. The Bidder, Whose Proposal is Accepted by the Mayor and City Council Fails to Enter Into Contract Within Ten (10) Days From the Notice of Award and Furnish Acceptable Bond to Complete the Work and Pay for All Labor and Materials Used, the Amount of the Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashier's Check Shall Be Forfeited to the City. Each Contractor Bidding Upon the Work Described in This Notice, Shall File With the Mayor and City Council of the City of North Platte, Nebraska, a Statement That He is Complying With and Will Continue to Comply With Fair Labor Standards as Defined in Section 73-104 R.s. Nebraska, 1943, in the Pursuit of His Business and in the Execution of the Contract on Which He is Bidding. The City of North Platte, Nebraska, Reserves the Right to Waive Informalities and to Reject Any or All Bids.
