This site’s existing 30-year-old generator does not carry the full electrical load of the site. The planned new generator will have increased capacity to carry the full load of the site, a new transfer switch with maintenance bypass, and connection to the building maintenance system for monitoring generator data. The new generator will be sized to back up the entire building estimated at 230KW Sound attenuated enclosure. Chain-link fence around area. Integrated fuel tank with capacity for 48 hrs of run time Remote annunciator panel with call out/text capabilities, tie-in to fire alarm panel for monitoring and through DDC as needed. Removal and disposal of existing with credit if possible. Redesign of electrical service in order for the new generator to power all panels in the building. External load bank plug in connection for use during annual testing. New closed transition automatic transfer switch c/w bypass to reduce disruption to the facility. Built in load bank that allows the facility to load the gen set correctly to be in compliance with C282-19 Table 3. Review and provide options on the existing switchgear to support the load of the whole building. Various cabling and associated upgrades to the switchgear and emergency distribution as applicable.
