Dry Boat Storage Renovation. Additional construction scope requirements are as follows: 1. Construction duration 120 Calendar Days from "Village-issued Notice to Proceed". Contractor shall provide a bar-chart schedule indicating the Work Breakdown Structure and all construction activities complete with actual and anticipated start and end dates, and construction durations, subject to Village approval. 2. Contractor proposal shall include all labor, materials, equipment, mobilization, and permit fees. Permit fees are waived for permits issued by the Village of North Palm Beach. 3. Performance and Payment Bond shall be required for all projects where the total cost is greater than or equal to $200,000. 4. Site preparation to include accommodations for equipment/material storage, dumpster placement, and construction worker parking. The successful Bidder will be required to enter into a contract with the Village that outlines the terms and conditions for renovating the facility. On site viewing of the proposed renovation location may be arranged by contacting Zak Sherman at 561-841-3384. It is anticipated that construction of the project would begin in October 2024. Timely completion of the storage facility is expected. This proposal will close at 3:00 p.m. August 15, 2024. Scope of Work The purpose of this solicitation is to select a contractor for the renovation of the Anchorage Park Dry Boat Storage Facility at Anchorage Park, 603 Anchorage Drive, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Invitation to Bid. The scope of work for this project includes various improvements to make the facility work better and look nicer. The specific tasks will include, but may not be limited to, the following: 1. Fence Replacement: Taking down the old fence and putting up a new one, along with three gates. 2. Vegetation Clearance: Removing existing vegetation in certain areas, especially along north fence line. 3. Grading and Drainage Improvements: To manage water effectively on the site and enhance aesthetics. 4. Concrete Pad for Dumpster: Building a new concrete pad for the dumpster area. 5. Applying Millings: Spreading millings in certain areas to harden up surface. 6. Installing Landscape Timbers: Installing landscape timbers to delineate parking spaces. 7. Installing Bollards & Signage: Adding bollards in each parking space to prevent boats from damaging the fence, and adding signage to bollard and fence (if applicable) to specify stall number. 8. Landscaping: Laying new sod in select areas and planting a hedge around the fence perimeter to enhance the appearance. Question Deadline 08/09/2024
