A satisfactory Bid Guarantee (Over $25K ONLY) in an amount equal to a minimum of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid shall be submitted with each bid. If the Bid Guarantee is in the form of a Bid Bond, the Bid Bond shall be made payable to Savin Rock Communities and shall be properly executed by the Bidder and Acceptable Sureties. Individual sureties shall not be considered. U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570, published annually in the Federal Register, lists companies approved to act as surety on bonds securing Government contracts, the maximum underwriting limits on each contract bonded and the States in which each company is licensed to do business. Use of this Circular is mandatory. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a Performance and Payment Bond (Over $100K ONLY), in the amount of 100% of the Contract Amount, or a 20% cash escrow or a 25% irrevocable letter of credit, in the form included in the Project Specifications.
