The scope ofthis contract shall include all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, service and insurance by the Bidder to complete the bid entitled: BID NO. 24-08 Library Entry Pavers in accordance with these entitled specifications. Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Security in the Amount of Five Percent of the Bid Amount Subject to the Conditions in the Information to Bidders. No Bid Shall Be Withdrawn After the Opening of the Bids Without the Consent of the Township for a Minimum of One Hundred Twenty Days (120) From the Scheduled Time for Closing Bids. The Township Reserves the Right: to Accept Any or All Alternative Bids; to Award the Contract to Other Than the Lowest Bidder; to Waive Any Irregularities of Informalities, or Both; to Reject Any or All Bids; and in General to Make the Award of the Contract in Any Manner Deemed by the Township, in Its Sole Discretion, to Be in the Best Interest of the Township. Conditional Bids Will Not Be Considered. Plywood to protect ground surface (4'x8'-sheets) Remove existing Brick Pavers and haul from site Prep for new install Plywood to protect ground surface 4" inlets to tie into existing drain tile system Lineal feet 4" drain pipe for downspout extensions 16x24 Stone outlined in attached picture(or comparable alternate) Lineal feet trim brick pavers to design Lineal feet concrete edge restraint Polymeric joining sand(hardener) Delivery and Labor: Unit price bid includes cost of: Delivery, storing and protecting existing and replacement brick pavers; excavating, removing, installing replacement brick pavers; cutting brick pavers; expansion joints; pre-molded expansion joint material; caulking sealant; excavation including hand excavation; pavement saw cutting; coarse sand setting bed; filling joints with polymeric jointing sand or mortar mixture; water; acid wash; subbase course type 1; protection of work from damage, vandalism, theft or other mishap; and furnishing all labor, material and equipment necessary to complete work.
