As of September 20, 2024, the project was awarded to RCS Construction, with an awarded amount of $1,831,322.60. The Southern Black Hills Water System (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: BOOSTER STATION AND 30,000 GALLON RESERVOIR The Project includes the following Work: Constructing a water booster station, 30,000 gallon ground level storage reservoir, 12" diameter water main, 8" diameter water main, 3" diameter water main, excavation, fencing, and other ancillary improvements necessary to complete the project. The site is located within Paramount Point Subdivision in Custer County, South Dakota. The owner reserves the right to the extent allowed by law to award the work as is most advantageous to the Southern Black Hills Water System, or reject any or all bids. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Title 40 CFR 33 and Executive Order 12138. The requirements for bidders and contractors under this regulation which concerns utilization of Disadvantaged/Minority Business Enterprises (DBE/MBE) and Women's Business Enterprises (WBE) are explained in the specifications. The DBE/MBE and WBE goals for participation in this contract in terms of percentage of contract value are as follows: MBE 1.0 percent; WBE 4.0 percent.
