The project, located at 6900Green Road, Mablevale, AR (Pulaski County side), includes theconstruction of (20) Micro Homescomprised of (6) Model A Units, (7)Model B Units, & (3) Model C Units& (4) Model Cb Units. This project is a part of a larger development, which will be bid in separatepackages. A bidder receiving a contract award may retain the bidding documents andthe Bidder's deposit will be refunded. Prime bidders requiringadditional sets and Sub-biddersmay purchase bidding documents through Southern Reprographics,Inc. It is the sole responsibility of each subcontractor and each bidder to verify that their bid is basedon a complete set of construction documents including all addenda.Each bid proposal shall include with it a bid security in the amountof 5% of the total bid offered, ifthe bid is in excess of $20,000.The bidder will be required to submit a bidder's deposit which includes enclosing a cashier'scheck payable to the order of Pulaski County and drawn from abank or trust company doing business in Arkansas or by a corporatebid bond in an amount equal to5% of the bid. All bidders shallconform to the requirement of the Arkansas Contractors LicensingLaw for Contractors and must belicensed on the day of the bid submittal. There shall be only one (1) bid submitted per State Contractor's License. Each bid receivedshall have the license for that bidder. Bid shall be submitted on the form provided by the Owner andshall be delivered in a clearlyidentified, sealed, opaque envelope. The University reserves theright to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities. Pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated 22-9-203, PulaskiCounty encourages all small, minority, and women business enterprises to submit bids for capitalimprovements. Encouragement isalso made to all general contractors that in the event they subcontract portions of their work,consideration is given to the identified groups. The Owner reserves the right toreject any or all responses andwaive formalities.
