Scope Of Work - South Park, Lot South of 95 Harbor Dr. Belleair Beach, FL. 33786 The approximately 54.2 LF of seawall at the property neighboring the address of 95 Harbor Dr. is scheduled to be replaced. The scope of work will include the following: o Removal of the front face of the existing seawall cap as required to allow the vinyl sheet pile to be installed against the existing seawall slabs and conform to all applicable regulatory agencies' requirements. o Installation of 54.2 LF of 16' long vinyl (ESP8.5, SG-750, TW-85, Vanguard HD or Truline) sheet pile in front of the existing concrete slabs. o Installation of (6) 16' long tieback rods. Tieback rods are to be 1" diameter HDG rods connected to manta ray anchors with a 6"x6"x1/2" HDG plate washer and nut and tensioned to a minimum of 13,000 lbs or 1" diameter PVC encased rods connected to reinforced concrete deadman with (2) 6"x6"x1/2" plate washers and nuts in accordance with the engineered plans. o Installation of 54.2 LF of 24"x24" reinforced concrete cap. Concrete cap elevation to be +5.0' NAVD. All reinforcement is to be in accordance with the engineered plans. o Installation of 1.25" x 4' long slit type PVC wellpoint drains at 6' O.C., 6" above the barnacle line, through both the new and existing wall. o Installation of (7) wellpoint drains through the seawall cap with GO-SEP flap valves to allow proper function of the French drain. o An existing stormwater pipe currently exists towards the middle of the property with an invert elevation of -2.7' NAVD which is near the waterward berm. An existing WASTOP valve exists in the stormwater pipe and is to be removed, salvaged and reinstalled once headwall is constructed. Reinstalment requires (4) sets of new 3/8" stainless steel hardware (concrete wedge anchor with washer and nylon lock nut). A manatee gate for the valve is to be provided by others for the installation completed by the awarded seawall contractor. The RCP is to be cut to allow for sheet installation, a PVC pipe is to be installed inside the RCP to extend to face of the headwall. A reinforced concrete headwall is to be installed around the stormwater pipe. All headwall construction, pipe sleeving and valve installation is to adhere to engineering and manufacturer drawings/specifications. o Due to the site elevations, grades will be below the proposed cap elevation. To assist with site drainage, a 2'x2' French drain is to be installed on the backside of the seawall cap. French drain is to be lined with filter fabric and filled with drainage stone. o To blend the grade and the cap elevation, drainage rock is to be installed at a 10H:1V slope on the backside of the cap. o Reinforced concrete return caps are to be installed along each property line to retain the drainage rock.
