The scope of the work includes, but not limited to, the following: 8" Sanitary Sewer (305 LF), 6" Sanitary Sewer Lateral (25 LF), Sanitary Ser-vice Connection, Including Cleanouts (5 EA), Sanitary Manhole (2 EA), San-itary Manhole Frame & Cover (2 EA), Manhole Abandoned (2 EA), Cut &Plug Existing Sewer (5 EA), Cut & Plug Existing Lateral (2 EA), Curb Ramps(2 EA), Sidewalk Removal & Replacement (1350 SF), Pavement Removal &Replacement, Type II Asphalt (60 SY),Curb Removal & Replacement (40 LF). The opinion of probable construction costs is $128,725. Proposals must be submitted on the form furnished by the City; must contain the full name of every person interested therein and shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of a bond as required in Section 153.54 (A) of the Ohio Revised Code with a satisfactory surety or accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than ten (10%) per cent of the amount of the proposal by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 and Section 153.54of the Ohio Revised Code on a solvent bank, subject to the conditions provided in the Notice to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond. If any person contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed Contract is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of Plans, Specifications or other Contract Documents, he may submit to the City written request for an interpretation thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
