The San Ysidro School District ("District") is a California public school district serving approximately 4,300 students on 7 school campuses, one (1) Child Development Center, and one (1) District Office and Maintenance Yard . The purpose of this Request for Qualifications and Proposals (RFQ/P), is to solicit proposals from an air filter company that provides the District with all the services necessary to install filters throughout the District's sites. The District intends to select one contractor through this RFQ/P process that are believed to be able to provide the best value to the District. The selected Contractor(s) will manage the change-out of filters at the District sites within a three (3) month period. The successful Contractor(s) shall also make recommendations to the District on procedures to implement to attain this objective. 1. Provide full district filters for each on-site. Based on the list provided. 2. Provide second set of 1 inch filters to each site and store for change out by SYSD in between service. 3. Provide labor to install all air filters for each school site. Maps will be provided where filters are located. 4. Filters within the entire district must be changed within a 3-month period 5. Filters will not be stored on-site prior to installation. 6. Provide proper disposal of used filters, no on-site disposal 7. Crews shall make contact with each school site office upon arrival to change filters. 8. Crew shall have a lead to make contact with SYSD HVAC Supervisor for specific sites in need of priority service during each change out. 9. All filters 2 inch and 4 inch in width must be MERV 13 and 1 inch MERV 10 or as specified on spreadsheet. Question Deadline 07/11/2024 at 4:00 PM PT.
