**Addenda can only be obtained directly from the owner** This contract consists of, but not limited to, the resurfacing of streets as identified by this contract. Work may also include the removal and installation of sidewalks, concrete curb ramps, concrete islands, driveway aprons, pavement markings, signal loops, adjustment of valve boxes and manhole ring and covers, all of which shall be addressed in accordance with the contract documents enclosed herein. All materials and workmanship shall be in accordance with all referenced plans and specifications herein The City reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids or to award such contract as in its judgment is deemed to be in the best interest of the City. Consideration will be given only to proposals submitted by contractors licensed in the state of North Carolina under the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1925 or as amended. A separate performance bond and payment bond each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required of the Successful Bidder following award of the Contract by the City. The anticipated Date of Availability for this contract is September 20, 2024. The completion date for this contract is September 20, 2025.
