Job No: 223059.00, 223066.00, 223067.00, 223068.00, 2367 Band room addition to one existing facility and life cycle upgrades to four existing facilities for all labor, materials and services necessary for the construction of Forsyth County Schools: Renovations, Modifications, and Additions to Matt Elementary (7455 Wallace Tatum Rd, Cumming, GA 30028), Sawnee Elementary (1616 Canton Hwy, Cumming, GA 30040), Vickery Creek Elementary (6280 Post Rd, Cumming, GA 30040), and Vickery Creek Middle (6240 Post Rd, Cumming, GA 30040),(the "Project"). All anticipated federal, state, and local permits required for the project have not been obtained. Required permits are anticipated on or before August 20, 2024. No rights of way and easements are anticipated for the Project. No Proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after Proposal opening, except as otherwise expressly provided by applicable law. Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the proposed lump sum contract price (exclusive of alternates and unit prices). Both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The Owner will provide the forms of all bonds. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond will be required for the following subcontractors: the fire protection subcontractor, the electrical subcontractor, the plumbing subcontractor, and the roofing subcontractor. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, and to waive technicalities and informalities. The proposal includes a breakdown by school and lump sum value. The project will be awarded by lump sum only.
