**As of September 23, 2024 , this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Project includes the following Work: +/- 164 LF 12" PVC water main, +/- 1757 LF 8" PVC water main, fire hydrants, transferring of water services along with all necessary appurtenances for a complete installation per construction drawings. castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials. The following waivers apply to this Contract: De Minimis, Minor Components, Pig iron, and direct reduced iron The City of Rochelle reserves the right to reject any or all bids including without limitation the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids; and to make an award in the best interest of the City of Rochelle. ***Document Note: Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Documents for each division are available electronically (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of $300.00 for each division. Paper copies of bid documents are also available for an additional $100.00 non-refundable charge. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, Bidding Documents will be sent via email or other means of electronic file distribution. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Bids will not be accepted from prospective bidders not on record with the Issuing Office as having purchased and received a complete set of Bidding Documents. Instructions to Bidders. All permits required for the construction of this project are expected to be approved prior to the date of the bid opening - with the exception of the submittal of the Notice of Intent for coverage under the NPDES General Permit to discharge stormwater Associated with Construction Activity. The Contractor shall be responsible for the submittal of the Notice of Intent and payment of all land disturbance fees. Acquisition of property for easements, right of way, etc. is expected to be required for the construction of this project. The City expects acquisition to be finalized prior to the bid date or prior to execution of contract documents. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. The Work will be substantially complete within 120 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 150 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run.
