Closing Time: 12:00 PM (NT) Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/09/25 12:00:00 PM NDT RFQ 23GS006R (NGS104) -3 Accessible kitchen Cabinets and Bedroom modifications, 391 Main St., Birchy Bay (Request for quotations contract Public Works or Services) including all required schedules. COMPLETION DATE: 1 month after award Demolition (bedrooms) 1. Removal of the following materials includes but not to: wall sections (drywall compound contains asbestos), flooring, baseboards/trim, interior door systems, ceiling tiles, light fixtures, thermostats and related wiring, plugs/switches and related wiring, window hardware and other miscellaneous items. All materials not being reinstated are to be removed from site and disposed of at an approved disposal area (see note 3 below about existing laminate flooring). 2 . Remove all laminate flooring in both bedrooms and store in basement for future maintenance material; tenant to create clear storage area off of basement floor. 3. Remove entire wall assembly and electrical components separating bedroom 1 and bedroom 2 to create a single bedroom. 4. Repair all openings and/or damage in walls, floors and ceilings where existing components were removed and/or relocated to new locations. 5. Remove existing door, door box and related in both bedrooms and dispose of. 6. Remove and dispose of light fixtures on separation wall. Relocate associated electrical and wiring as per drawing A-1. Demolition (kitchen/dining) 1. Remove and dispose of all kitchen cabinets, range hood, counter top, sink, faucet and related plumbing accessories. 2. Remove portion of wall assembly behind existing fridge as per drawing A-2 3. Remove range and set aside for removal by NLHC. 4. Existing fridge to be set aside for re-installation once work is complete. 5. Remove and set aside floor transitions for re-installation. 6. Remove existing receptacles and other electrical items and re-route as required to accommodate new kitchen layout on A-2. 7. Remove and dispose of existing baseboard, baseboard heaters in kitchen and dining room. 8. Remove existing plumbing and re-route to accommodate new layout. 9. Remove all ceiling tiles in kitchen and dining room and set aside in basement for future maintenance material. 10. Remove existing ceiling fans in kitchen and dining room and set aside for re-installation.
