No bids may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the called time. The Colquitt County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any and all formalities. Subcontractors to be licensed as required by the State of Georgia. General Contractor License will be verified prior to awarding bid. Subcontractor license will be verified as applicable within fourteen (14) days of awarding bid. Non-licensed subcontractors to be replaced at no cost or liability to the Owner. See Instructions to bidders for additional requirements. Contractor to provide references of similar work completed in the last five years with the sealed bid. References must include the project title, location, estimated value, date of completion, primary contact, address and current phone number(s). Bonds: All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. All bonds must appear on the Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 Listing. The Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis. Include all Owner requested Allowances. 1 No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the time has been called on the date of the opening. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive all technicalities.
