GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Contractor shall provide waterproofing of the UCLA Cogeneration plant cooling tower concrete basins located on the Facilities Management building roof. The rooftop basins collect water from cooling towers to feed chillers that supply cooling water for campus HVAC equipment. As a part of maintenance programs, the concrete basins need a new waterproofing membrane. To comply with campus cooling need the project is intended to take place in up to (3) construction phases during the winter months where (4) concrete basins of varying sizes will need to be prepped and waterproofed. B License (General Building) The University currently anticipates executing the work of this contract in three Phases: Phase 2A is currently anticipated to occur in early 2025, Phase 2B is currently anticipated to occur Spring 2025, and Phase 2C is currently anticipated to occur Winter 2026. Contractor shall mobilize and demobilize in between each construction Phase. The CM/Contractor and University will explore alternate phasing options during Pre-Construction services. Estimated Construction Cost: $2,800,000.00 The University reserves the right to reject any or all responses to Prequalification Questionnaires and to waive non-material irregularities in any response received.
