The successful Bidder shall possess a valid Contractor's license in good standing, with a classification of "B" (General Building Contractor) at the time the contract is awarded. Each Bid shall be accompanied by one of the following forms of Bidder's Security to with a certified check or a cashier's check payable to the County, U.S. Government Bonds, or a Bid Bond executed by an admitted insurer authorized to issue surety bonds in the State of California (in the form set forth in said Contract Documents). The Bidder's security shall be in the amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory faithful performance bond and a satisfactory payment bond in the forms set forth in said Bid Documents. The County reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in any Bid. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) calendar days subsequent to the opening of Bids without the consent of the County.
