Notice to Bidders Blum Construction in association with WC Construction has been hired as the Construction Manager @ Risk by the City of Asheville and will receive and publicly open sealed proposals from prequalified bidders for the construction of the McCormick Field Improvements Project. Bids will be delivered to 30 Bryson St, Suite 160, Asheville, NC 28803, Blum Construction, and then read aloud PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project will consist of a renovation and addition to the existing +/-4,000 seat ballpark. Project scope will include a variety of renovated or new player facilities, a new natural grass field and upgraded sports lighting. The project will feature many new or renovated fan amenities including new seating areas, new comfort facilities, a new team store and new LED scoreboard. Modifications to the vehicular drop-off area, entry plaza, site drainage systems, underground utilities and landscaping in and around the additions will be part of the scope.
