Scope of Work: The project includes, but is not limited to, furnishing material and labor to perform renovations, modifications, and upgrades to three of the City of Gulfport existing sanitary sewer lift stations. The work consists of, but not limited to, replacing pumps and piping, replacing all guide rails and associated brackets, replacing electrical equipment and controls, cleaning and recoating of the wet well, demolition of existing structure, by-pass pumping, replacing all access hatches, installing permanent by-pass pumps and connections, installation of dog house manhole, repainting/recoating of existing structures and equipment; and all necessary site work to restore the site from construction operations. The project will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. However, the City of Gulfport reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to waive any informality. The Contractor shall adhere to all procurement requirements as per document 2 CFR 200 as a part of the project expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the Mississippi Municipality & County Water Infrastructure (MCWI) Grant Program with anticipated American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
