The Bid Notice can be obtained from the Medina County Engineer web page athttp://engineer. medinaco.org/. Said improvement will involve the removal and replacement of the existing basketball court, installation of new basketball hoops, excavation and installation of a new asphalt pickleball court, grading and installation of 2-2B catch basins and underdrains, with top soil, seeding, mulching and other incidental items as shown in the plans, stipulated in the plan notes or as directed by Liverpool Township in accordance with the specifications and accompanying construction drawings. The improvement project shall have a substantial completion date of June 16th, 2025 and a final completion of July 1st, 2025. The Engineer's Estimate for the project is $190,260. No contract shall be awarded at a price more than ten percent in excess of the Engineer's estimate. Each bidder shall be required to file a bid guaranty with the bid in the form of either: (1) a Bid/ Performance Bond in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid; or (2) a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Letter of Credit shall equal to 10% of the amount bid, conditioned that the bidder shall, if their bid is accepted, execute a contract in conformity with the bid, plans, details, specifications and bills of material. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contract compliance with the Equal Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and the Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Contractors and Subcontractors must comply with Prevailing Wage Rate requirements on public improvements in Medina County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Labor and Worker Safety as detailed in the Bid Documents. The bid will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. The Liverpool Township Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids. Should a question arise at any time during the examination of Bid Documents or investigation of the site the Bidder may seek clarification by directing all pre-bid questions to the project site on the www.bidexpress.com web service.
