Location: The Project is Located in the Town of Fairlee, Vermont at Approximate Mile Post 85.15 on the Washington County Railroad - Connecticut River Line (Wacr-crl). Over an Unnamed Tributary to the Connecticut River. Type of Construction: The Work Includes Repairs and Reconstruction to a Damaged Historic Stone Masonry Twin Barrel Culvert (Bridge 509) and the Installation of a New Culvert That Will Act as an Overflow Structure. All bidders on this project must hold both current annual Prequalification with the Vermont Agency of Transportation through the "Contractor's Experience Questionnaire and Financial Statement" and unconditioned project-specific approval through the "Standard Form - Request for Proposal" CA-82 form. This Contract shall be completed on or before November 07, 2025. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. This work shall consist of removing and resetting existing rail at locations shown in the Contract Documents or as directed by the Engineer. The work shall include furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for removing and resetting the existing rail, including but not limited to re-installing existing rail anchors, joint bars, and tie plates. The Contractor shall supply new joint bar bolts, washers, nuts, and track spikes; and joint bars and rail anchors if the existing hardware is not suitable for re-installation.
