The City anticipates the scope of work to include design and construction for two (2) water wells for Bryan Midtown Park Phase 3C - Contract 4 project. The City has established a target commencement date for construction activities as May 2024. The projected completion date is estimated to be 90-working days. October 25, 2024 – Anticipated date of Notice of Intent to Award • November 7, 2024 - Submit 2 signed original contracts with required insurance within 5 business days from Notice of Intent to Award • November 12, 2024 – Anticipated date of Contract Award by City Council • November 14, 2024 – Anticipated date of City Council Signed Contract • December 2, 2024 – Anticipated Pre-construction Meeting (Date TBD) • November 25, 2024 – Performance and Payment Bonds due within 7 business days of Signed Contract • December 2, 2024 – Anticipated date of Notice to Proceed All proposals shall be accompanied by a proposal bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total proposal amount payable to the City of Bryan, from a surety company authorized to do business in Texas as a guarantee that the Proposer will enter into a contract and provide required insurance within five (5) business days after receiving a Notice of Intent to Award, and will provide to City all submittals required by this contract within ten (10) business days from Notice of Intent to Award, and will provide to the City executed Performance and Payment bonds within seven (7) business days after City Council Award of Contract. The bond shall be on the forms provided, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price from a Surety Company holding a permit in the State of Texas and approved by the Federal Government, and must bear the impressed seal of the surety company and the name of the Proposer, and be signed by the Proposer and an authorized representative of the surety company. Powers of attorney must be attached to the bid bond. • October 16, 2024 @ 10:00 am CST - Deadline for written requests for clarifications to the RFP. Deadline to Issue Final Addendum. In order to ensure a fair and public process, all questions related to this Request for Proposals shall be addressed in writing, via the Brazos Valley Online Bidding System to Laura Perez, Buyer. City of Bryan Purchasing Department ATTN: Laura Perez purchasingweb@bryantx.gov. The City reserves the right to reject any CSP for failure to comply with these requirements. The Proposal Pages may be removed from the specification booklet and submitted with a proposal bond or cashier's check. It is not necessary to include copies of the addendums. A space to acknowledge receipt of addendums is included in the RFP documents.
