The contractor agrees to the delivery window upon submission of a bid for this project. Project Description: A. Provide equipment and labor to remove the existing grinders from all three (3) trains and set up support for outside staging area. Work will include the installation of the Center Flow Screens and Washing Compactors, controls, discharge chutes, and all appurtenances. TNSA will be responsible for isolating the channel to ensure dry conditions for the duration of the installation. Contractor is to provide pumping for any additional water that may leak through the channel during installation to maintain dry conditions. Any equipment that is removed, such as comminutors, are to remain on site for TNSA. B. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and installing non-potable pump equipment with double basket strainers and reconnection to the existing electrical service as necessary. This work includes but is not limited to new pump installation on a new concretepad as specified on drawings, extension of non-potable water piping, valves, fittings, and all appurtenances as shown or required for a complete and operable system. The Contractor shall extend non-potable water system piping to the new bar screens and compactors including all excavation, backfill, heat trace, insulation and jacketing, and all appurtenances as shown or required for a complete and operable system. C. The contractor is responsible for all site work including but not limited to grading, concrete curbs, retaining walls, sidewalk, replacement of fiberglass covers on channels and diversion chambers, stair relocation, replacement and relocation of odor control piping as necessary, etc. D. Furnish and install six (6) 1 1/2 -yard hoppers. E. Furnish and install prefabricated overhead canopies for each train. Work shall include all labor and materials including but not limited to footings, excavation, backfill, formwork, erection, etc. as shown on the drawing Questions deadline: 7/15/24
