The Class of Work for this Project is: Waterline and sewer force main technical improvements. Douglas County will require a performance bond and payment bond satisfactory and acceptable to them in the amount of the Contract. Each bid shall be accompanied by cash, certified check, or bidder's bond made payable to Douglas County in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Bidders shall disclose the names, addresses, Construction Contractor's Board numbers, if applicable, and value of contract of all first-tier subcontractors (those Entities that would be contracting directly with prime contractor) that will be furnishing labor or labor and materials on the contract, whose contract value exceed 5% of the total project or $15,000, whichever is greater, or any subcontract over $350,000. The Work covered by this contract shall be completed on or before the date specified in Section 00180.50(h) of the Special Provisions bound herein, which is MAY 1, 2024. Bidders shall take into consideration the provisions of ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 for payment of applicable prevailing wage rates on public works contracts valued over $50,000. The January 5, 2024 publication of the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) "Prevailing Wage Rates for Public Works Contracts in Oregon" shall apply to this Contract.
