The Lee County Board of County Commissioners seeks to contract with a qualified Vendor to provide parts and repair services for various utility plant equipment. All prospective bidders are encouraged to obtain and review plans, specifications, and scope of work for this bid before the pre-bid conference so that they may be prepared to discuss any questions or concerns they have regarding this project. A site visit may follow the pre-bid conference. Questions regarding this solicitation are to be directed, in writing, to the individual listed below using the email address listed below or faxed to (239) 485 8383 during normal working hours. Liquidated Damages: Damages paid usually in the form of monetary payment, agreed by the parties to a contract which are due and payable as damages by the party who breaches all or part of the contract. May be applied on a daily basis for as long as the breach is in effect. Each Bidder shall examine the solicitation documents and shall judge all matters relating to the adequacy and accuracy of such documents. Any inquiries, suggestions, or requests concerning interpretation, clarification, or additional information pertaining to the solicitation shall be submitted in writing prior to 5:00 PM at least eight (8) calendar days prior to the date when the submission is due. Bid date note: Sealed Bid: Submission must be in a sealed envelope/box, and the outside of the submission must be marked with the following information (Sealed Bid Label Form is attached for your use): Marked with the words "Sealed Bid" Bid Number Bid Title Bid Due Date Name of the firm submitting the bid Contact e-mail and telephone number Bid submission shall include: Provide two (2) hard copies.
