The County seeks to engage the services of a qualified Consultant for Emergency Disaster Recovery Consulting Services on an as-needed basis to assist in the response to a natural or manmade disaster or emergency as required by Osceola County. It is expected the awarded consultant would work cooperatively with various impacted County departments, Federal, State and local partners, agencies and authorities as well as associated disaster service providers retained by the County. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. A RFP/Performance and Payment Bond is not required for this project Questions regarding this solicitation must be received in writing at the address above no later than Friday, January 26, 2024, at 12:00 PM Local Time. It is anticipated an Agreement will be awarded for a three (3) year term to begin upon approval and execution by the County; with the opportunity for up to two (2) additional one (1) year renewal periods when in the best interest of the County. Total contract length, including all renewals shall not exceed five (5) years. The decision to renew or extend the contract shall be at the sole discretion of the County. The successful Proposer(s) shall be required to review the Disaster Debris Removal and Disposal Services with the County on a semi-annual basis. Osceola County reserves the right to waive any formalities, to reject any or all proposals or to re-advertise for proposals for these services. Osceola County may withdraw all or part of this RFP at any time to protect the interests of the County.
