Additional Description: The contract awarded under this advertisement for bids are expected to be funded completely or in part by a loan from the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program (SDWLP). This procurement will be subject to regulations contained in NR 162.09 and NR 166.12 Wisconsin Administrative Code and appropriate state statutes, including Section 281.61 of the Wisconsin state statutes. Davis-Bacon: The work for this project is subject to the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA) compliance provisions. The contractor shall use the Prevailing Wage Rate shown in the Davis-Bacon Wage Rate Tables issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division. The successful bidder will be required to conform to the wage requirements prescribed by the federal Davis-Bacon and Related Acts. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program contractors, including MBE's and WBE's, are encouraged to submit bid proposals. If any subcontracting is done, the prime contractor must make a Good Faith Effort to solicit bids from qualified DBE firms, including MBEs and WBEs. Prior to the award the City will be reviewing the Contractor's submittals in order to meet the qualifications under minority-owned or woman-owned business. In addition, the City encourages MBE's and WBE's to submit Bid Proposals
