The Project includes the following Work: Project generally includes, but is not limited to, replacement of existing reservoir liner and cover system; installation of new power supply to the site; and upgrade various electrical equipment at the Reservoir. This Project falls under The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania enacted Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act (the Act) which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Governments E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. The Authority reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Authority, and to reject any or all proposals. All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award. The estimated cost for each Contract is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply.
