In order to offer architectural or engineering services in response to this solicitation, the proposer must be licensed in the State of North Carolina. Development of monumental campus gateways, including signage, at main entry points to campus. The total project budget including all design fees, permits, and contingencies is $1,000,000. Critical Factors In order to offer architectural or engineering services in response to this solicitation, the proposer must be licensed in the State of North Carolina. Interested firms can participate in the process by submitting a current SF330 form, for lead firm and major consultants, addressing the following in a written proposal: Experience or appropriate expertise in the type of project Past performance on similar projects Adequate staff and proposed consultant team for the project (qualifications, related similar experience, and examples of previous collaborations) Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) representation in proposed consultant team Current workload and State projects awarded Proposed design approach for the project including design team and consultants Recent experience with project cost estimates and schedule adherence Construction administration and construction observation capabilities Proximity to and familiarity with the area where the project is located Record of successfully completed projects without major legal or technical problems Other factors which may be appropriate to the project All questions and project submittals are to be directed to: ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS ONLY: Mary Pohl Administrative and Program Associate HUB Coordinator Campus Operations University of North Carolina Asheville 828 250-3994 mpohl@unca.edu.
