1.0 General: This is a non-personal services contract to provide janitorial cleaning services to the Abiquiu Lake administration complex and recreation areas. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the primary contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. 1.1 Description of Services/Introduction: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform janitorial services as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) except for those items specified as Government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. 1.2 Background: For the function of this janitorial contract, Abiquiu Lake Project Office encompasses an approximate 4362 sq. ft. administration/maintenance area and 5811sq. ft. of recreational areas for a total of 10,173 sq. ft. required for janitorial cleaning services. The administration and maintenance areas are frequented primarily by approximately 20 government employees, while the recreation areas are utilized by the general public. Recreational cleaning areas require additional services during summer months (April-October). Objectives: The objectives of this contract are to maintain a high level of cleanliness in all areas designated in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) while meeting satisfactory performance levels. 1.4 Scope: Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and supplies, transportation, supervision and equipment necessary to perform janitorial services at Abiquiu Lake, in strict accordance with the following specifications. The public use areas and facilities include the Rio Chama Recreation Area, Overlook, Administration Building, Riana Campground, Cerrito Recreation Area and surrounding Public Use Areas. All areas and facilities shall be maintained in a clean and sanitary condition. 1.5 Period of Performance: The period of performance shall be for one (1) Base Year of 12 months and four (4) 12-month option years. The Period of Performance reads as follows: Base Year Date of award - December 31, 2024 Option Year 1 January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025 Option Year 2 January 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026 Option Year 3 January 1, 2027 - December 31, 2027 Option Year 4 January 1, 2028 - December 31, 2028 ***See attachment for complete Request for Quotations and further detail of the Performance Work Statement***
