The City of Levelland is seeking proposals to concrete a walking trail at Lobo Lake Park. Scope of Work It is understood that except as otherwise specifically stated in the contract, the Contractor shall provide and pay for all materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, of every nature and all other services and facilities of every nature whatsoever, necessary to execute, complete and deliver the work within the specified time. Questions should be emailed to Dustin Reichelt. Director of Parks, at dreichelt@levellandtexas.org no later than 5:00 p.m. January 19,2024. All questions that require an addendum will be posted on the City of Levelland website by 5pm on January 19,2024. Bid must be accompanied by Bid security, payable to Owner, 5 percent of Bidder s maximum Bid price, and by certified check, bank money order, or Bid bond issued by a surety. Liquidated Damages Liquidated damages in the amount of $250 per day from each calendar day after the 60 day project timeline will be charged to the Contractor. Liquidated damages will not be charged for delays associated with weather. Contract Time The contractor shall commence work within 30 calendar days of notice of award and shall complete the project within 60 calendar days of award. The City reserves the right to accept the proposal which is in the best interest of the City, to waive irregularities, and to reject any and all proposals. o +/- 1500 linear feet of 5' feet wide 4" inch thick fiberglass 3000 PSI concrete o Must tie into exsiting pieces of the current concrete trail/some demo is required. o Removal of old asphalt is possible on certain portions of the trail. o Demo of approximately 500' of curb and replacement with concrete. o (5) fiberglass 3000 PSI concrete pads that are 8' x 3'
