The Contract provides for the construction of approximately 1,100 linear feet of 8-inch water line along HWY 59 in Gravette, Arkansas in coordination with ARDOT Job 090558. Other major items of work include a jack and bore beneath HWY 59; connection to the existing water line system; and abandoning the existing water line system in place. No half-size sets will be sold or issued prior to bid opening. All contractors intending to bid SHALL register as a plan holder by notifying the Issuing Office via email. When registering as a plan holder, contractors shall submit primary contact information including name of contractor, primary contact, phone number, fax number, and physical address. Failure to register as a plan holder can result in your bid being rejected. Interested parties are responsible for printing. All bids will be distributed electronically from the Issuing Office. Receiving electronic links from the Issuing Office automatically registers you as a plan holder. Bidders do not have to be qualified to do business and licensed in accordance with all applicable laws of the state and local governments where the Project is located in order to submit a Bid. However, all business licenses must be secured by the winning Bidder prior to execution of the Contract. Bids received from Bidders who are not recorded by Owner as having received the Bid Documents will not be opened. Prequalification of Bidders will not be required. Owner will evaluate Bidders in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bids shall be in accordance with the Bid Documents. The Bid shall be conditioned upon compliance with all labor related requirements including the regulations and stipulations concerning equal employment opportunity, minority manpower utilization, and minimum wage rates, as applicable. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive irregularities therein, and all Bidders shall agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the Owner for any damage or claim brought by any Bidder because of such rejections, nor shall the Bidders seek any recourse of any kind against the Owner because of such rejections. The filing of any Bid in response to this invitation shall constitute an agreement of the Bidder to these conditions.
