The City of Bend intends to utilize a Type II Slurry as part of 2024ST24SL Street Preservation Project ("Project"), for approximately 155,913 square yards or approximately 22 Lane miles. All start and stops will be laid out in white marking paint. The Engineer's estimate is $484,306.25 to $508,521.56. Entities intending to bid should register with the Portal in order to receive addenda. For mandatory pre-bid conferences, only Bidders who attend and register at the pre-bid meeting shall be eligible to submit a Bid. Statements made by City representatives at the prebid conference are not binding on the City unless confirmed in an addendum. Sealed Bids will be received online as instructed on the City Bonfire Portal. Please contact the Issuing Officer no later than two (2)business days prior to Bid due date to make arrangements ahead of time for an in-person submission. Hard copies will not be accepted unless the Bidder has made arrangements ahead of time. If a hard copy of the Bidis submitted without prior coordination with the Issuing Officer, the Bid will be returned (unopened) to the Bidder without consideration. No faxed or emailed submissions will be accepted. Prequalification is a requirement. Bidders must be prequalified with City of Bend at the time the bids are opened. Prequalification process is administered by the Private Development Engineering Division through the City View permit and licensing software and customer portal. You can verify if you are Prequalified by going online at website. New applications for the City of Bend prequalification must be received at least 10 business days before the bid deadline. This project is subject to the provisions of ORS 279C.800 through279C.870 regarding payment of prevailing wages. The City of Bend reserves the right to: 1) reject any or all bids not in compliance with public bidding procedures, 2) to postpone award of the contact for a period not to exceed sixty days from the date of bid opening, 3) to waive informalities in the bids. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
