Tyee Pond Effluent Pipe Replacement Alternate Bid: The sum stated in the Bid offered by the Bidder to be added to or deducted from the Base Bid for Work described as a change in the project. An Alternate Bid may change price, time, scope, materials, or methods of construction. The Tyee Pond is located south of the SeaTac International Airport. This project will replace the entire Tyee Pond Effluent Pipe (414 LF) with 72-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe to ensure that the pipe has a 50-year design life and continuance of design hydraulic performance. In addition, 2 manhole structures will be added to provide energy dissipation. The Engineer's estimate range for this project is $1 Million - $2 Million. The WMBE utilization goal is 8% for this contract. Question date 1/31/2024 To submit questions regarding Bidding Documents, log into electronically. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid security, cashier's check, money order, or surety bid bond, in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid including Alternates, if any.
