CIP 2312-WA DNT Waterline Relocation (US380-First St). Question Deadline 01/19/2024 at 12:00 PM CT. The Project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials (except as otherwise specified), and performing all work necessary for the construction of the two Northbound lanes on the east side of the ultimate six-lane divided roadway between US 380 and First Street (formally Fishtrap Road). The project includes a concrete roadway with curb and gutter, underground drainage improvements, and median landscape improvements. Each proposal submitted shall be accompanied by a cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the maximum amount proposed, payable without recourse to the Town of Prosper, or a Bid Bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the successful Contractor will execute a Construction Agreement with the Town, including all required bonds and other documents. The successful Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of 115% of the contract amount, and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, as well as evidence of all required insurance coverage within ten (10) calendar days of notice of award. The successful Contractor shall also furnish a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount covering defects of material and workmanship for two calendar years following the Town's approval and acceptance of the construction. Engineer's Estimate - $1,866,505.50. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Owner may require, to reject any and all Bids and to waive any informality in the Bids received.
