The work generally consists of the following: The work to be performed under these Contract Documents consists of the replacement of the PLC System in the City of Dunedin Wastewater Treatment Plant, inclusive of all equipment, materials and work required for operational systems that are complete and fully tested. Question Deadline: 01/27/2024 at 2:00 PM ET, All contractor Requests for Information (RFI) must be submitted ten (10) days before the bid opening, to Chuck Ankney, CPPO, Purchasing Agent, at cankney@dunedinfl.net, The City will not respond to RFIs submitted after that date. The City will process the requests and respond within a timely manner. The Engineers Estimate for the project is $800,039.18. The time allotted for this project is 600 days, for substantial completion. In addition, the proposals must be marked with the bidders name and address and be accepted by the Purchasing Office by the time and date specified above. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or a cashiers check or an acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days without the consent of the City. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. One contract shall be awarded for all work outlined above and described in the plans and specifications. The City of Dunedin, Florida reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, to waive any irregularities or informalities, to re-advertise and to award the Contract in its best interest. Bids which are incomplete or which are not submitted in accordance with instructions in the INVITATION may be disqualified.
