The project includes: Construction of approximately 287 linear feet of 8-inch. Construction of one (1) 48" diameter manhole. Construction of three (3) sanitary sewer service laterals. Connection of three (3) sanitary sewer services. Perform additional and incidental Work as called for by the Specifications and Plans. Each proposal must be submitted on forms prescribed by the City and accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount equal to 10 percent (10%) of the total amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a faithful performance bond and a labor and material payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of contract. The successful bidder will also be required to furnish a statutory public works bond in the amount of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000.00). Evidence of workers' compensation insurance will be required before the work shall commence. The City reserves the right to reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject all bids if it is in the public interest to do so. This advertisement is authorized under the direction of John M. Lewis, P.E., Public Works Director.
