Project scope includes but is not limited to construction of a new 900-square foot wood-framed addition and partial interior renovation. Bid Period will include: Bid Package #1 - Pre-Engineered Wood Structure, Bid Package #2 - Excavation, Bid Package #3 - Concrete, Bid Package #4 - Metal Framing/Drywall, Bid Package #5-Asphalt Paving, Bid Package #6 - Electrical. B. If a Site Visit is required, please contact Diana Book at 630-945-5731 C. Bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check equal to 10% of the base bid must be submitted with the bid. Bid security shall be made payable to the Monee Fire Protection District. D. Sealed bid proposals will be accepted by mail or hand delivery to Fire Chief Nieland, Monee Fire Protection District, 25707 S. Harlem Ave. Monee, IL until 2:00 p.m. CST on January 18, 2024, after which no additional bids will be accepted. Sealed bid proposals shall be contained in an opaque sealed envelope titled "Sealed Bid - Monee Fire Protection District Station #2 Addition & Renovation Project - Bid Package # [Insert Bid Package Number]" - ATTN: Chief Nieiand. A current Prevailing Wage Schedule for Will County prepared by the Illinois Department of Labor is available for review. Bidders must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. G. All contractors intending to bid on this project must have an A305 prequalification statement (included in bid packet) submitted to Laub Construction, Inc. by January 12, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., CST. The Monee Fire Protection District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities, informalities, technicalities, and other nonmaterial variances contained in any bid proposal. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
