Deadline for Questions January 15, 2024, 7:00 a.m. EST The Lift Station No. 11 Force Main project consists of the complete installation of a new 24" primary force main along NE 15th Ave, from Master Lift Station No. 11 to the existing 24" DIP stub-out connection at the intersection with NE 18th St. The new line will be composed mostly of 24" HDPE, with segments of 20" DIP, and 16" DIP, adding to a total of approximately 3,800 LF of pipeline. The new force main is proposed to be installed mostly by horizontal directional drilling (HDD), with segments routed under the South Fork of Middle River canal, municipal roads, and Broward County right-of-way. As part of this project, the contractor will be responsible for the complete installation of the new force main, including but not limited to: pipe installation via HDD and open cut, fittings, valves, valve structures, flow meter, MOT, bypass, connection in phases to Lift Station No. 11, erosion and sediment control, HDD contingency plan, necessary restoration, electrical connection of the flow meter to the lift station, and communication/signal setup of flow meter to City of Fort Lauderdale's SCADA system. Due to the pipeline passing through multiple rights-of-way, it is expected that the work performed meets applicable standards of the agencies with jurisdiction. The anticipated time line for this project is six (6) months to substantial completion, with two (2) additional months to final completions and certifications.
