The City of Phoenix seeks to establish a contract or contracts for the sale of scrap metal on an as-needed basis. The City's metal recycling effort aims to promote landfill diversion and obtain revenues to offset City expenses. Public Works, Solid Waste Division places scrap metal bins at service locations for various departments. All offers shall be firm and fixed for a period of 180 calendar days from the solicitation opening date. The City reserves the right to change dates, times, and locations, as necessary. The City does not always hold a Pre-Offer Conference or Site Visit.
