St. Johns County is soliciting a quote from qualified Suppliers to provide, replace and install protective netting on fields, batting cages and (carpet, where applicable) at area parks throughout St Johns County. Each park has custom netting and park visits are highly recommended for exact measurements, design and environment conditions of installation. All Parks are open to the public and visits can take place at any time but may not disrupt any practice or play that may be taking place. St. Johns County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes, waive minor formalities or irregularities, and to award the quote that best serves the interests of St. Johns County Must possess current and valid licenses to conduct business in the State of Florida Current Certificate of Insurance Payment terms are Net Forty-Five (45) days, in accordance with Chapter 218.74(2) Florida Statutes. Work must be completed M-F between 7:00am-5:00pm. No Weekends or Holidays A purchase order number will be provided and will be considered a notice to proceed Supplier will be responsible for the removal and disposal of all existing material, including carpet and netting and any other associated materials with the replacement and install Supplier will place warning signage and rope off areas while working to keep residents safe and away from work zone Supplier will supply all labor, tools, equipment needed for proper installation Installation must include all materials needed to install netting properly, including, clamps, cables, and any other material needed All netting must be twisted black nylon 1 3/4 " mesh dipped in UV protected coating All cable to be a minimum of 1/4 " galvanized steel cable with 5/16" cable clamps where applicable Carpet ( Mills & Little League Complex) must be 26oz nylon/poly blend material with .4375"pile height Carpet must be UD latex backed installed with tap cons and washers every twenty-Four Inches (24") Aerial photos are included on Exhibit A Location Specifics 1.
