Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check payable to the owner equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal or a bid bond of a bonding company duly authorized to da business in the State of Wisconsin in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. This proposal guarantee shall be subject to forfeiture as provided by law. When submit- ting an electronic bid, Bidder is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within 72 hours of bid opening to Cedar Corporation. This project is part of a Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP) MSIS Project, which consists of street improvements of existing street including clearing and grubbing, removals, excavation, storm sewer, curb and gutter, sidewalk, drive- ways, crushed aggregate base, hot mix asphalt pavement, pavement markings, and restoration. Proposals shall not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date of opening. The City of Durand reserves the right to reject any or all of the proposals and to waive any informalities therein.
