The work includes upgrading the Paul Henry Trail to a ten-foot aggregate and paved trail, park signs, parking lots and bridge railing. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond by a recognized surety in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount. After the time of opening, no bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. The Barry County Parks and Commission reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of Barry County. Questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the ENGINEER not less than seven (7) days prior to date of opening of Bids.
